Shadow Islands
A political scandal, stolen millions, and a cryptic map lead four Vietnam veterans to an abandoned CIA base on a remote Caribbean Island. The only obstacles to making off with the loot: modern-day pirates, a local naval garrison, and some well-armed ex-CIA agents.

A Bastard Resistance
A Bastard Resistance is a historical novel based on the real life, but little known, exploits of the Cebu guerrillas who waged the greatest resistance movement of the Pacific War. Abandoned by the U.S., they fought on for three years, taking the fight to a brutal army of occupation while winning the support of the civilian population.
Against all odds, the guerrillas fought the Japanese Army to a standstill and even captured a high-ranking admiral along with Japan’s secret plans to win the war in the Pacific.
The novel's plot also involves, and perhaps solves, one of the great mysteries of WWII: why General Douglas MacArthur lost half his air force, caught on the ground, more than eight hours after he learned of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Part of the answer comes from a secret order which only came to light decades after the end of WWII.
